On arrival at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will receive a VIP meet and assist service, ensuring a smooth transition through arrivals. We have assumed you will arrive late on the 9th and suggest staying at the Four Points, just a 5-minute drive from Arrivals.
The next day, you will meet Ninian to fly by scheduled air service to Entebbe, Uganda. We suggest you book the Kenya Airways flight that departs at 10.00 from Nairobi. (We have not included this flight in the quotation).
On arrival at Entebbe, once you clear customs and immigration, you will fly by private charter to Kasese airstrip ( approx 75 minutes). From here, you will drive to Kibale Forest to stay at Primate Lodge. You will leave the lodge early on the 11th to track chimpanzees.
On the 12th, you will drive via Fort Portal and Kasese, to Queen Elizabeth National Parks Katungulu jetty on the Kazinga channel. From here, there is a boat transfer to The River Station Lodge.
On the 15th a boat transfer takes you back to the Katungulu jetty to drive across the park and through remote villages to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve. The drive will take about 90 minutes to Sanctuary Gorilla Lodge. You will go on gorilla treks on the 16th and 17th.
On the 18th, you will drive back to Kasese Airfield to connect with a flight to Jinja. On arrival at Jinja, you will be transferred to the river bank by road and taken to the Lemala Wildwaters Lodge by boat.
Fly from Jinja to Entebbe to connect with a Kenya Airways flight from Entebbe to Dar Es Salaam via Nairobi. (We have not included this flight in our quotation). On arrival at Dar Es Salaam, you will connect to a charter flight to Songo Songo Island; from here, it’s a boat transfer to Fanjove Island.
