Kenya, Zimbabwe and Botswana Family Safari

We recently hosted and guided a family safari that visited some of our favourite destinations in Kenya, Zimbabwe and Botswana.

We were camped in our favourite corner of the Mara Triangle for the first 4 nights and each night  we were serenaded by the local pride of lions, it was magical to hear them so close by  and then meet them as we headed out from camp each morning at first light.

We took boat trips down the Zambezi River, soaking in the magic of Victoria Falls and used mokoro’s and motorboats to explore the beautiful waterways of  the Okavango Delta. The wildlife was  abundant, we saw wild dogs, sable antelope, incredible leopards, elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and so many different species of birds.

We had two young birding enthusiasts in our group, and by the end of our two-week safari, they had spotted an impressive number of bird species.
