On arrival at Kigali International Airport, we will book an exclusive VIP meet and greet service; they will assist you through arrivals and immigration and you will be transferred to Kigali Serena for 3 nights.
From Kigali, you will go to Wilderness Bisate Lodge at the base of the Virunga Mountains. It is a three-hour drive through rolling hills covered in farms. You will have a private car at Bisate.
You will spend three nights at Bisate, which will be your base for two gorilla treks, which will take place on April 24th and 25th (Gorilla permits are subject to availability and cannot be held without full payment. Currently, there are 24 permits available on the 24th and 25 on the 25th).
On the 26th, you will be driven back to Kigali to connect with a scheduled flight to Seronera in Tanzania. On arrival at Seronera airstrip, your Namiri guide will meet you and drive you to camp, which will be approximately a two-hour game drive. You will stay in one of the two-bedroom Retreats. The predator densities in the Eastern Serengeti are incredible, especially for lions and cheetahs. At this time of year, we hope you will catch the migration. You will have a private car for your game drives.

*The flight will stop at Mwanza to enter Tanzanian customs and immigration. There may be other stops en route.
On the 30th, you will be driven back to Seronera to fly to Kenya, and on to Shaba National Reserve, where you will meet Ninian. Here, you will stay in our mobile camp, which we will set up overlooking a pretty spring. Ninian has suggested using a helicopter to explore further north, including Lake Turakana. The camp will be the home base.
We have two flight options for getting to Shaba.
Charter option:
Seronera - Musoma 35 minutes
Musoma (customs and immigration): 30-45 minutes (this is where you get your passport stamped and exit Tanzania)
Musoma – Kisumu 45 minutes
Kisumu Customs and Immigration approx 40 minutes (this is where you get your passport stamped and enter Kenya)
Kisumu - Shaba 1hr 15 minutes

Kilimanjaro – Wilson ETD 14.40 – ETA 1535
Wilson - Shaba charter flight 55 minutes
On May 3rd, fly back to Nairobi to connect with your international flight home
