On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will receive a meet and assist service, ensuring a smooth transition through arrivals. We will arrange a transfer to the Protea Hotel, where Ninian will meet you.

After a night at the Protea Entebbe Hotel, we would fly by scheduled flight out to Kasese, where the River Station Team would meet us and drive/boat us to the River Station on the Kazinga Channel. The River Station is a new lodge in the Kyambura Reserve, so we are not very likely to see too many other tourists here. The lodge has excellent views of the channel. It's quite fun getting there, and the journey takes you through spectacular country. We will take a short boat trip on the Kazinga Channel to get to the lodge. We have three nights here and will spend some time on day and night game drives. We should see lots and lots of elephants and, if we are lucky, some lions too. On one of the days, we will try a chimp trek in the Kalinzu Forest.

On the 30th, a boat transfer will return you to the jetty, followed by an interesting 5 to 7-hour drive across the park, through remote villages and breathtaking landscapes, to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve. Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Lodge occupies a privileged location as the only lodge inside the Buhoma sector of the park. You will go on two gorilla treks, one on the 31st and another on the 1st.

On the 2nd, you will drive to Kihihi Airstrip (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes) for a domestic flight to Entebbe to connect with a flight to Nairobi. We recommend booking the Kenya Airways flight departing Entebbe at 16:20 and arriving in Nairobi at 17:30 (based on the current schedule). A driver will take you to the Four Points Hotel near the international airport, where you will stay overnight.

The following day, you will take a private charter flight to the Mara, where you will stay in our camp in one of our favourite areas of the Mara Triangle. After four nights in camp, you will drive with Ninian to Naboisho Conservancy, spending your final two nights at Naboisho Camp. The wildlife viewing here is exceptional, with some of the best predator sightings in the world.

On your final day, you will fly back to Nairobi. If your international flight departs late at night, we can arrange day rooms so you can rest and freshen up before your journey home.
