We recommend arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (Nairobi) on a flight from Lilongwe, scheduled to land around 7:30 PM on the 22nd. A meet-and-assist service will guide you through arrivals, and we will arrange a transfer to the Four Points Hotel at the airport for the night.
The next morning, you will fly by private charter to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, where you will stay in the Lowis & Leakey private mobile tented camp. Ninian will be your guide during your time in the Mara.
After your stay, you will fly by private charter to Entebbe, Uganda. From there, you will take a scheduled flight to Kihihi, where you will be met and transferred by road to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve, staying at Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Lodge. We have been told that the gorilla trek permission for the kids is possible but it is subject to approval by the Uganda Wildlife Authority. The first step is completing a waiver/liability form provided by UWA, which you as parents/guardians are required to complete. We will then share the completed waiver along with copies of the children's passports with UWA. Once approved by UWA, we can make permit bookings.
On the 30th, you will drive approximately 1.5 hours back to Kihihi Airstrip for your domestic flight to Entebbe, connecting with your international flight home.
