We recommend arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (Nairobi) on a flight from Lilongwe, scheduled to land around 7:30 PM on the 22nd. A meet-and-assist service will guide you through arrivals, and we will arrange a transfer to the Four Points Hotel at the airport for the night.
The next morning, you will fly by private charter to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, where you will stay in the Lowis & Leakey private mobile tented camp. Ninian will be your guide during your time in the Mara.
Say Farewell to Ninian and fly by private charter to Entebbe, Uganda. From Entebbe, you will connect to a domestic flight to Kasese. The River Station Team will meet you there and transfer you to The River Station Lodge via a combination of driving and a short boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. The lodge is located in the Kyambura Reserve, a quieter area where you’re unlikely to see many other visitors. You’ll stay here for three nights, with day and night game drives planned. Expect to see many elephants, and possibly lions. One of the days will include a chimpanzee trek in the Kalinzu Forest.
On the 30th, you’ll return to Kasese Airstrip for a domestic flight to Entebbe, where you’ll connect to your international flight home.
