On arrival at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will receive a VIP meet and assist service, ensuring a smooth transition through arrivals. You will then meet your driver, who will take you to the Four Points Airport Hotel.

The following morning a Four Points driver will take you to the nearby Wilson airport where you will meet Ninian to fly to Lewa Conservancy, where you will stay three nights at Sirikoi Lodge, which sits on land adjacent to the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. The Lodge overlooks a busy waterhole. There is a pool and good game drives. Sirikoi has full roaming rights on Lewa Conservancy, an excellent location for seeing black and white rhinos, regular plains game, and predators. Some species you will see there are endemic to Northern Kenya, such as the Grevy's zebra and the reticulated giraffe. Sirikoi is among our favourite places to take guests. On the 7th you wil spend the whole day exploring further north by helicopter and return to Sirikoi for the night.

The helicopter trip into the Northern Deserts and forests has to be one of the most interesting trips that one can do here in East Africa. It touches on culture, pre-history, geology, biodiversity, spectacular scenery and getting far away from the crowd.

We then suggest that you take a four night break at the Slater’s in the Mara where you can relax in the Mara climate, go for lovely game drives, walk, and hang out with the Slaters. You will fly from Lewa to the Mara and Lisa will arrange for you to be met on arrival.

After your time at the Slaters you would hop you across the border with Ninian using scheduled flights to Tanzania going via Migori and Tarime. These flights tend to leave early but it means that we can have you into Ubuntu Camp in the Southern Serengeti by lunch time. Ubuntu Camp which is based near Kusini in the woodland that borders the short grass plains of the Southern Serengeti. You should be able to catch the migration from here.

After two nighs at Ubuntu you will drive to Namiri. The drive between the two camps takes you across huge expenses of wilderness that should have good game in January. Namiri is one of our favourite camps and it sits on the Eastern Edge of the Serengeti. It is one of the best places on earth to see lions and cheetah. You will explore large areas of the short grass plains and kopjes. There is a chance that (especially if a big storm comes through before you get there ) that the main herds of wildebeest migration are within reach of this camp.

From Namiri you will fly to the Northern Serengeti to stay at Sayari camp.

After your time in the Serengeti you will fly back to Kenya to spend a night with the Slaters in Nairobi before you head home
