On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport on the 19th of December, a VIP meet and greet team will get you through customs and immigration as quickly as possible before you are transferred by car to Arusha Coffee Lodge for the night. The drive will take about 90 minutes, depending on traffic.
On the morning of the 20th, after a big breakfast, you will be taken across to the Arusha airport (about 15 minutes) to fly by private charter flight to Serian Lamai, a camp in the Northern Serengeti. Serian Lamai sits on a ridge not far from the Mara River, which is a great place to start a safari with lots of varied wildlife, good numbers of predators, and lots of crocodiles and hippos in the river. You will be here for three nights.
On the 23rd, you will fly by private charter to Seronera in the Central Serengeti, where the Namiri team will meet you. It will take about two hours to drive out into the Eastern short grass plains where Namiri is located. Namiri is famous for its predators, especially cheetahs and lions. In December, there is a good chance ( though not guaranteed ) that the great wildebeest migration will be within reach of Namiri.
On the 26th, you will be driven back to Seronera airstrip to fly by private charter to Kilimanjaro and connect with your international flight home. Depending on what time your flight departs, you may need day rooms.
