On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will have a VIP meet and assist. A driver from Hemingways Hotel will meet you and transfer you to the hotel.
Kenya and Tanzania safari for Drew Yerg and Family
On arrival at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will receive a VIP meet and assist service, ensuring a smooth transition through arrivals. You will then meet your driver, who will take you to the Hemingways Hotel.
The following day, a Hemingways driver will take you to the nearby Wilson airport to fly to Lewa Conservancy, where you will stay three nights at Lewa Wilderness. Lewa Wilderness is among our favourite places to stay on Lewa - the Craigs have created a very inviting space - an extension of their family home that is comfortable without being over the top. The guides at Lewa will take great care of you; they are familiar with the area and know their wildlife and birds. They have stables, and you can walk there. Lewa is an excellent location for seeing black and white rhinos, regular plains game, and predators. Some species you will see there are endemic to Northern Kenya, such as the Grevy's zebra and the reticulated giraffe.
From Lewa, you will fly by Scheduled Air Service to Naboisho Conservancy, part of the Greater Mara, to stay at Naboisho Tented Camp. The wildlife viewing is fantastic here, and the conservancy has some of the best predator viewing in the world. Recenty refurbished, Naboisho is comfortable and well located on the conservancy.
From the Mara, you will fly via Migori in Kenya and Tarime in Tanzania to clear customs and immigration before flying to Seronera in the Serengeti. From Seronera airstrip, it is a two-hour game drive to Namiri Camp where you will stay in one of the new two bedroom Retreats. The predator densities in the Eastern Serengeti are incredible, especially for lions and cheetahs. At this time of year, we hope you will catch the migration.
On the 15th, you will be driven back to Seronera to fly by scheduled air service to Kilimanjaro airport to connect with your international flight home. You could also fly back to Nairobi if you prefer to book return flights into and out of Kenya. We can arrange day rooms if your flight departs late at night, allowing you to relax and freshen up before your journey.
