We have assumed you will arrive in either Cape Town or Johannesburg and connect to a flight to Maun in Botswana to start your safari. On arrival at Maun Airport, you will connect to a short flight in a light aircraft to Chitabe in the Okavango Delta. We love Chitabe Camp for its game viewing; they often see wild dogs here and we love the landscape, which includes floodplains, marshes, and woodlands.
A short hop by scheduled air service to Vumbura Private Reserve, where you will stay at Little Vumbura Camp. Vumbura is a magical aquatic wonderland with vast floodplains adorned with lilies and river channels protected by towering reeds and papyrus. The waterways are dotted with islands surrounded by forests, which you can explore using a boat or a canoe. Within a short twenty-minute boat ride, the dry savanna boasts an abundance of wildlife, including Ninian's favourite, the herds of Sable antelope.
Depart by scheduled air service to Maun. You can connect to Cape Town.
