Kenya and Tanzania Lodge Safari April 2025
Below is an outline of a Kenya safari for your family for April 2025. We are not holding space but if this appeals to you please let me know and we can check availability.
On arrival at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will have a VIP meet and assist through arrivals before meeting your driver to be taken to the nearby Four Points Hotel for the night.
The following day, a driver from the hotel will drive you to Wilson airport to connect to a scheduled flight to Amboseli, where you will stay at Tawi Lodge.
Fly from Amboseli to Lewa by scheduled air service (via Nairobi), where you will stay at Sirikoi Lodge.
You will fly from Lewa to the Mara by scheduled air service to stay at Naboisho Conservancy, where the wildlife viewing is fantastic. Here, you will stay at Naboisho Camp for three nights.
Fly from the Mara to the southern Serengeti via Migori and Tarime to exit Kenya and enter Tanzania. You will fly into the southern Serengeti, where you will spend two nights at the Wilderness Usawa Plains. Usawa, at that time of year, is an excellent location to explore the short grass plains of the Southern Serengeti. The focus here will be to try and find the great migration.
You will then fly by scheduled air service to Seronera in the Eastern Serengeti (you have a two-hour game drive to the camp from the airstrip) and stay at Namiri Plains Camp. Namiri is on the northern end of the short grass plains of the Serengeti. It is a fabulous place for predators and one of our favourite places to include on a Tanzania safari.
You will game drive back to Seronera to fly to Manyara. On arrival you will be met and driven to to the Ngorongoro Crater, where you will spend one night at the soon-to-be-opened Osonjoi on the crater rim.
On the last day, you will fly to Kilimanjaro to connect with your international flight home. We can arrange day rooms if your flight departs late at night, allowing you to relax and freshen up before your journey. Or you may want to fly back to Naiorbi to connect with a flight from Jomo Kenyatta.
