Kenya Lodge Safari 15th – 30th July 2025

Log Out

Below is an outline of a Kenya safari for your family starting in Nairobi on July 15th and ending on July 30th 2025.

On arrival at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will have a VIP meet and assist through arrivals before meeting your driver to be taken to the nearby Four Points Hotel for the night.

The following day, you will be driven to the nearby Wilson airport to fly to Loisaba Conservancy, one of our favourite locations; it has excellent wildlife and is particularly good for leopards. Here, you will stay three nights at Loisaba Tented Camp, which has a spectacular view across the conservancy.

A short hop by scheduled air service takes you to Lewa Conservancy, where you will stay at Sirikoi, which sits on land adjacent to the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. Sirikoi Lodge overlooks a lush lawn and a busy waterhole, and it has a lovely vegetable garden that supplies the kitchen. There is a pool and good game drives. Sirikoi has full roaming rights on Lewa, it is an excellent location for seeing black and white rhinos, regular plains game, and predators. Some species you will see there are endemic to Northern Kenya, such as the Grevy's zebra and the reticulated giraffe. Sirikoi is among our favourite places to take guests.

You will fly back to Wilson Airport to connect to a flight to Amboseli, where you will stay at Tawi Lodge, which sits outside the reserve on a private concession, which will allow you the option to walk. Amboseli is very different from any of the places on the rest of the safari: a vast ancient lakebed at the base of Kilimanjaro. There are great herds of elephants here.

You would then fly to the Mara, staying in two different camps over five nights. The reason that we have decided on two locations in the Mara ecosystem is to try and give you a chance to see the migration in the main reserve, which at that time of year will be busy with other tourists before moving to the private Naboisho Conservancy, where the wildlife viewing is fantastic and it is not crowded as the conservancy limits the number of tourists that are allowed to access it. It also has some of the best predator viewing in the world.
