On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport on the 14th February you will be met by our meet and greet team to help you through customs and immigration. You will then be transferred to Giraffe Manor (about 40 minutes) where you will stay in the Karen Blixen Suite which is a two bedroom family suite.
On the 15th after breakfast you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for a 50 minute private charter flight to Lewa Conservancy where you will stay at Private Wilderness for three nights. You will have Private Wilderness to yourselves. Ninian will be with you as your guide.
On the 17th you (with Ninian) will fly by helicopter north into the wild and arid deserts of northern Kenya. The aim of this day will be to explore very remote areas and also spend time on foot in beautiful untouched places. The chopper trip would take most of the day up but you would return to Private Wilderness for the night. This version is different to option 1 where you break the journey by staying in the north. This one day version is a bit tougher on the kids.
On the 18th you will fly by fixed wing aircraft to the Masai Mara for three days in the Lowis & Leakey Mobile Camp which will be set up just for your family on the banks of the Mara River.
On the 21st you will fly back to Nairobi to catch your outbound flight home.

The only extras a guest might incur are for gift shop purchases, spa treatments or gratuities, as well as any additional food and drinks purchased at Daisy’s bar and restaurant at The Retreat. Private Wilderness is a new addition to Lewa Wilderness a family-owned and run property on Lewa Conservancy. This small five bedroom private house is built along the side of a valley; overlooking a stream, which attracts all sorts of game. The Craig family have created an inviting space that is comfortable without being over the top.
