Lolebezi Lodge

Lower Zambezi National Park

Zambia

Log Out

Lolebezi Camp is the latest addition to the Lower Zambezi National Park; situated in an area with abundant wildlife on the banks of the Zambezi. Built on a five-hectare concession through which a narrow inlet known locally as the Discovery Channel joins the Zambezi River, Lolebezi is in one of the best spots on the river.

The lodge offers four signature suites and two two-bedroomed family suites along the riverbank amidst Sausage and Mahogany trees. The activities available at Lolebezi are diverse and adaptable. You can choose from game drives, guided river excursions by boat or canoe, walking safaris, and fishing. You can try your luck at catch-and-release fishing for the Zambezi's finest tiger fish, bream, and vundu. There is a gym, and spa treatments are on offer.

The guiding, service and food are excellent.

About This Area

The 4,000 square kilometre Lower Zambezi National Park is delineated in the north by an escarpment and in the south by the Zambezi. Zambia's youngest and least developed park, the Lower Zambezi, is a true wilderness. Great swathes are yet to be properly mapped, and the area is generally inaccessible to most vehicles. Home to herds of elephants, hippos, buffalo, waterbuck, and many of the big predator's, lion, leopard wild dogs and hyena, the game here is excellent. The area ranks high on our list of favourite places to go on safari.
